Inspired by the popular music band 'Moonwalker', This unofficial music video brings the themes and images from the original song to life. This Blender animation features a fully modeled, textured, rigged, and animated model featuring the lead singer's likeness; as well as settings and coreography imspired by the band.

This animation was storyboarded in Adobe Animate before being completed in Blender. The main environment is curved and rotated on it's center to simulate the character walking without actually moving them in 3D space. The environment is modeled from scratch and features multiple moving parts such as fire and falling structures

The beginning of the video features characters in front of a projector displaying animated images behind them. These images were hand animated in Adobe After Effects before being imported into Blender and projected into the environment. It is displayed via light objects to simulate real life projectors.

This project gave me the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of animated video production. From storyboarding to modeling to animating, I learned to hone my current skillset or gain new skills, as well as identify weakness in my current workflow that I have worked to improve in future projects.
